Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: proton-cachyos, Set launch options
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%

Absolutely needs PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% to start up on newer proton versions. I was able to get the game running on older protons without any commands, specifically proton 3.16, but as I wanted to use the default cachyos proton, it needed this launch command.
