only happened once on intial launch
An overclocked 1600AF can't hold a consistent 60 on low settings. I'm not sure if this is a cpu bottleneck or not. I haven't tested on windows to see if it could be a driver or proton issue.
Crashed on first launch. Worked on second. Crashes while changing graphics settings in game frequently. Crashes for no reason at all every 5-20 minutes. I think this is an nvidia driver issue.
In a cutscene spider-man's model exploded and engulfed the entire screen. On my first boot to get in game peter's model didn't move at all for the intro. Swapping in and out of the game can cause a crash.
I've tried both protonGE and experimental, wayland and xorg. Works fine on the steam deck.
On a decent desktop things are mostly okay, but on steam deck the performance isn't where it should be.
Mouse is usually extremely stuttery and unresponsive in menus
A decent framrate will hold if I don't look around. The faster I look the further performance tanks. Issue is persistent on three different nvme ssds AND on steam deck. I believe this is a proton or game optimization issue. I don't believe performance is stable enough for deck verification.
On desktop I tried wayland, x11, and using gamescope under both. All issues persisted.
