I feel with a beefier rig you'd have a perfect experience albeit without multiplayer, and it's still playable under my specs
renamed eldenring.exe to start_protected_game.exe and renamed the old version of that exe to start_protected_game(old).exe, (doesn't really matter how that file is named, just that it doesn't conflict with the new name for eldenring.exe).
I'm at the minimum specs so I guess it really shouldn't be unexpected, but I still expected better
Does not work out of the box without renaming files, and even then multiplayer is not currently accessible
An update must have fixed multiplayer. Did have to reinstall because game detected inappropriate behavior even after reverting files.
Only summoned one player for co-op but worked as expected. Some bloodstains could be seen but not activated. Reading messages is file.
Proton Experimental is still required it seems, but it's as simple as checking a few options, without it multiplayer does not work and game experiences a myriad of performance issues.
Shows a loading screen, disappears and runs in the background forever
Might have something to the hardware I'm running on, tried both latest release and experimental and both have the same result
