Text boxes aren't mapped such to allow steam keyboard to auto open when clicked. Have to use the trick of holding steam and track pad for mouse, and steam+x to toggle KB
It fails to load showing what looks like a crash handler on native, proton though seems to fix this immediately with no downside.
There also is a party options for friend play, which you can add bots to, I'm curious if it needs internet to talk home for that but may even work offline w/ bots (speculative).
There is also a client for mobile (Android/iOS.), which is full featured so you can get any of your friends willing in, not just the steam gamers
