The game crashes after a few minutes with Steam client. When it dies it takes Steam with it.
Crashes couple of seconds after you take control of the car at the intro.

Lighting seems to look worse using same settings as Windows, day time looks too bright, shadows aren't as pronounced.
Settings are usually reset, launches in a windows by default.
Launching the game while Xbox One Controller works although connecting the controller during gameplay doesn't work. (Xbox wireless adapter using xow)
Slightly lower FPS than Windows.

Graphics settings reset on its own.
Use the launch option to force AMDVLK for this game. You can get the package from it's official github. You might have to choose a different directory depending on your distro. I use Fedora and there's noticeable improvement in lighting effects and performance forcing AMDVLK.
