Sometimes the game doesn't start in fullscreen, but some kind of mix between fullscreen and windowed mode. If I switch with Alt-Tab and back again, the screen mode sometimes changes as well. Switching with Alt-Tab sometimes leads to crashing the game.
Often crashes when switching the windows with Alt-Tab. Sometimes crashing without doing something. Could be due to Early Access, though.
Had to use custom Proton: Proton-5.9-GE-8-ST GloriousEggroll
the red flickering and the objects not being rendered are bad -- but the missing audio makes the game unplayable

Tried installing dxvk and faudio -- did neither fix the red flickering nor the missing audio
no sound except for video sequences
red flickering; objects not being rendered
I've tried various faudio versions, ran FCPrimal.exe
in on Windows XP compatibility mode and tried various dxvk versions and various graphics options as well. Nothing helped or, in some cases, it even lead to the game not starting at all any more.
Also, you'll have to install uplay either via Lutris or by copying the uplay directory from another Far Cry installation.

When the game starts, I have to press Alt + Shift
+ Tab
(switch to previous window) to switch to the relevant window
- Quitting the game does not stop the process, which I do have to do manually.
- uPlay had to be installed via protontricks (copying it from my Far Cry 3 installation didn't work for some reason and installing it via Lutris didn't work either).
There are issues with the area of effect by buildings being displayed. Neither negative impact, nor positive are being displayed. This issue seems to be happening with AMD and Intel GPUs using Mesa drivers. I tried it both with the Proton version Steam uses by default and with the latest GE version.
