No guide was able to launch game

I used the guide provided here(https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/csxaza/how_to_play_enderal_forgotten_stories_with_proton/). It did not fix the game. After a bit of tinkering I was able to get to the launch menu, but that is as far as I was able to go. I also could not launch from lutris.
