Its super weird. In the game files I needed to change hl2_linux to "hl2_linexe" and then replace hl2_linux in hl2.sh to "hl2_linexe". If not done the game wont launch for whatever reason. Found this fix on github and should also apply to other source engine based games.
As already stated for me the game didnt start, not even crashing until the fix was applied.
Its totally playable and works like a charm. On Extreme I get FPS between 60 and 80, though I only use a 60hz monitor so its smooth.
If I leave open the launcher you can see light borders of it in game. To fix just minimize the launcher before booting the game.
Its weird... I feel like changing settings doesnt improve FPS a lot. Doesnt matter if I put everything to Extreme or Middle, only Low improves FPS significantly.
I mean yes and no... If your system is better, it might run better. Performance issues can also be due to the game being buggy - im not sure

I refunded the game since it isnt playable for my taste. If you are used to bad performance, input lag and low fps you might find fun with this. Maybe in the future we will see performance improvment.
Works totally fine, nothing to worry about except the audio settings. Could be tweak via config file anyways.
Audio works fine but clicking on the audio settiings in the menu crashes the simulator
Sadly Ilan Papini (the devoloper of this sim) passed away so this is the best we will get. RIP Ilan
