Cap game to 30FPS with adaptive antialiasing
Game launched to Uplay which needed to update to Ubisoft connect, I had to relaunch the game and log in again before the license to the game appeared and it would start.
Menu controls are... idiosyncratic. Can use the left stick to move a pointer, or use Steam button + Right trackpad
Put F5/F8 on paddles and touchpads
Increased the font size and fixed it!
Drop TDP to 5W, holds 60fps at ultra, sips battery.
Cap FPS at 40 in game, set Refresh Rate to 40Hz on Steam Deck. DO NOT CAP FPS IN STEAM DECK SETTINGS.
If you set a Steam Deck FPS limit in the performance settings on the Deck, loading will slow to a crawl.
Whatever you do, do not set an FPS Limit on the Steam Deck Performance settings, use the In Game setting to cap frame rate. If you don't the loading screen will take ages... To the point it seems to have crashed.
FSR 2.0 works very well.
960x600, FSR, 48Hz refresh, 24fps, dropped TDP to 7W. Gave a longer battery life. Reversed all that when near a plug.
Sometimes stalls with EA launcher. Trying again made it work.
Crackling on wake from sleep occasionally.
40Hz and Triple Buffered VSync
Needed to install Origin thin client
