Loud noises and crash since the big Verse 3 Patch

The Easy AntiCheat splash shows, the screen goes black and there is a loud horrible noise, then a crash dialog from UE5. There was some install prompt after this patch, which I ran. It was for some UE5 stuff, I think. The game was working yesterday before the patch!
