Professor Badvibes
Published
Unplayable with major graphical bugs and no music.
Tried various versions of Proton and latest GE
Game loads the developer logo, then loads up a screen of error messages about not being able to find functions. Pressing a button will bring up the main menu, but the background only displays some flashing colors. The main menu can be navigated, but the error messages block it so that the options are unreadable. Starting a new game clears the error messages, but when the game starts, the background goes from flashing colors to a hall-of-mirrors effect and the character is invisible. Some sounds are present but no music.
Works pretty much flawlessly out of the box at 1080p/144fps. Background blurring effect is a little extreme if anything.
Audio didn't play when viewing opening cutscene for the first time, fixed on restart
Audio defaulted to coming out of Dualsense speaker
Experienced bugs consistent with what Windows and console players reported (collision issues, etc)
Make sure audio output is set correctly before boot
Works great with Proton Experimental on a fresh install. No issues I didn't notice on Windows.
Entering fullscreen with Alt+Enter causes a black bar to appear along the bottom of the screen
