Launches, crashes immediately.
Tried with Proton 5.13-4, 5.9-GE-8-ST, 5.21-GE-1, and Proton Experimental. Unable to install dotnet48 with protontricks or get launcher to work in non-GE versions. Launching with bg3.exe or bg3_dx11.exe linked gives a black screen before crashing immediately.
Enabling fake fullscreen works.
My previous report was submitted before I had tried validating local files. Don't forget to try the obvious...
Using Proton-5.21-GE-1; applied fix listed below.
Base grass texture missing.
The game was only using one CPU core and ran terribly. Fixed by adding user.cfg file based on comment here. Adding PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 to launch options also helped significantly.
Audio stuttering in opening theme. Fine everywhere else.
Turned bloom off because it was visible in menu as well as too strong in-game.
Expected 60+ FPS at best settings, 1080p but was getting ~40.
Works flawlessly.
Has crashed twice in 48 hours of play when trying to save.
