Mangohud was unable to hook in, and libstrangle crashes (with every game), so i used the launch option
DXVK_FRAME_RATE=60 %command%
To limit the framerate to 60.

Native version has microstuttering issues, forcing proton fixed it.

There is quite annoying stuttering in the Talos Lobby and Psychotronics levels, which persists throughout (not shader compilation stuttering,) however the rest of the game is fine. in 30 hours of play, I had one freeze and a few small bugs which weren't a big hassle.
Using Proton GE, the launch option: DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command% seems to help slightly with stuttering

Textures would refuse to load in, sometimes for 3+ seconds, sometimes indefinitely, unless the game was paused and unpaused. Nothing I tried fixed it.

Despite the game being locked to 60 FPS by default, forcing another 60 fps limit through goverlay (mangohud) fixed a persistent stutter. Don't ask me why.
