change CURRENT BUTTON LAYOUT to the standard template "Gamepad With Joystick Trackpad"
Control Layout:Switch To Gamepad With Joystick Trackpad
Runs well. The only issue is the default controller scheme is for mouse and keyboard. Just manually change controls to "Gamepad with Joystick Trackpad" by going into the controller icon on the "hero" screen on steam deck (where the green play button is."
