Audio was the only major issue this game has, but it only happens after several hours of gameplay.
Aside from the issue I've experienced with Pipewire and certain games ran through Proton, this game runs fine. It's something about pipewire-pulse causing it, but not sure what. The graphical bugs might be present when playing on Windows too, so don't weight that too heavily against playing it in Linux.
-dx11
Pipewire occasionally gets weird around Wine/Proton applications. Use "systemctl --user restart pipewire.service" to fix it. Only has to be done once after you log in.
Aside from the initial audio issue which affects my system in general, this game is very playable. I used the high graphics preset and had no issues during intense stuff like BPM Rush.
Causes system to hang after your droppod/ship lands and would open.
Tried both DX11 and DX12 launch options, both performed the same and got no further. This game does run just fine at the high graphics preset on Windows 11 with this system, so maybe it's driver or vulkan related?
gamemoderun %command% -dx12
There is a flickering black vertical bar on the left side depending where you look in-game. Sometimes the game has a hard time deciding what LoD to use for distant terrain or objects.
Crashes if a Pal, NPC, Item, etc clips through the ground while in a dungeon.
Specifying -dx12 is a must for an Intel Arc A750, otherwise it refuses to start.
Wouldn't start with default compatibility settings, but switching to 8.0-4 or 8.0-5 fixes that.
