Early Access Season #5 broke all Linux support.

Since the latest season dropped (18/12/2024) all Linux support has now stopped working. The game will launch perfectly fine but once you get to the part where the game client has to connect to the Dark and Darker servers you will instantly crash to desktop.
I've tried every combination of proton version and launch commands I personally know. ProtonGE, Proton9,8,7 and so on. With and without launch commands. I've tried setting up a bottle but no luck.
Game is from the looks of it currently completely broken.
Game broke yet again with the "3 April 2025 -- 08:05:08 UTC" update.

After the latest version came out the game has all but completely broke. Cannot launch on my system any longer. Tried both on my Nvidia system and AMD. Tried Steam Deck as well with no luck. Found several posts across different forums that all report the same problem and on Windows as well.

Contacted Ironmace directly informing them that all Linux compatibility was broken and had a conversation back and forth. Info was provided as requested and today this morning I was informed that the game would have a patch released that would solve the Linux launch problems.
Dark and Darker now works again out of the box (07/04/2025) using Proton and some launch options. Additionally another bug that made the game hard to launch was squashed as well.
Very enjoyable, but get 2 friends minimum ideally full 4 man if you want the best experience.
Invited both my friend that plays on Linux and 2 friends on Windows. No issues whatsoever.
