Keyboard and controller not detected until loading up a dungeon. Undetected when using text input.
The default resolution of the game is 1920 x 1080, but depending on my screen settings, the game doesn't list 1920 x 1080 as a resolution option (may be partially due to using a 16:10 screen). The listed resolution options seem abnormal compared to on Windows on the same computer which does let me select 1920 x 1080. The game is best played at 1920 x 1080 anyways.
Keyboard and controller not detected, but mouse is. The keyboard can get detected if entering a dungeon. The controller will be detected if entering a dungeon and the controller was plugged in before starting up the game. Upon interacting with text inputs, keyboard and controller detection is lost.
I took a while to make my report. In the past, I noticed this game when launched with default settings detected a keyboard or controller correctly, but some tinkering with an in-game setting made it not detect keyboard/controller on next startups. I never narrowed it down to what setting it was, but I used to just reset the in-game settings to fix it, but that no longer works for me. I'm amazed another user realized you could enter a dungeon to get the keyboard/controller detected, but the issue of it getting undetected again when interacting with text input really makes it inconvenient to play this game with Proton. I hope one day it gets fixed.
