The game is unplayable because of the heavy stuttering I experience. The performance is fine otherwise and isnt the problem at hand here.
Heavy stuttering when moving player camera across the map. (Short drops to 1-2 fps for a few seconds). When not moving the performance was fine. This problem was less apparent when starting a new save, but still there
Runs OOTB without changing Proton version or anything (used default).
Even the EA launcher didnt cause any problems suprisingly...
The crashes were annoying since the save-points are not the same as the checkpoints, but i think i have never lost more than 15 min progress
i had 2 crashes in around 4 hours (linux) playtime
Performance good,. Only problem are the crashes. I am pleasantly suprised I didnt have to install WMP.
crashes every 1 or 2 hours with a LAA (Large Adress Aware) Patch for it to use more RAM. I didnt play long before the patch, but i think the patch mightve made the crashes more rare.
There is no need to install Windows Media Codecs or stuff like that (when installing that the game actually stopped working). The Crashes that I mentioned always happen in random cutscenes like a few seconds into the video. When restarting the game it works, but you lose a bit of progress.
