Performance of the game is fine, I did have very slight lag here and there but rarely. Controller worked fine.
gamescope -W 3840 -H 2160 -r 144 --hdr-enabled --force-grab-cursor -- %command%
Does run fine without gamescope as well, but prefer to play via gamescope in general due to HDR and just generally makes it easier to alt tab out when want to.
Game launches to a blackscreen/grey screen depending on Proton version, no further luck than that
I've tried Proton-GE, Proton 9.0-4 and default Proton but no luck. I've also tried creating a GraphicsConfig Ini file manually as it has fixed this issue for some on Windows, but unfortunately not for me. I don't think it's a Proton issue in this case, just some weird porting issue considering similar reports on Windows.
Proton version can't get to the main screen with options
Native works fine, but has performance decrease compared to running on Windows. This was tested on the latest 64-bit build. Native use the 64-bit as well.
Installed Gmod-Lua-Menu to get the main menu working.
Running perfectly through Proton, there's a native port too but didn't work for me.
gamescope -W 3840 -H 2160 -r 144 --hdr-enabled --force-grab-cursor -- %command%
You are better off running the Native version due the lack of music with Proton.
There's game sounds, but no music. Native works fine with Audio.
gamescope -W 3840 -H 2160 -r 144 --hdr-enabled --force-grab-cursor -- %command%
Be aware that the game has a kernel anticheat, so the game could stop working at any moment but so far it works fine day 1.
Couldn't get it to work with gamescope due to the custom launcher the game has, but the game does work fine perfectly out of the box without
