Sporadically get glitchy character models and white outs. But otherwise it's playable.
It takes a very long time to load. Graphics works fine, except for minor HUD artifacts. Sound works perfect. You can only play time trial or single race offline, accessing multiplayer crashes the game. Performance is clearly inferior compared to native.
Beat the game with no issues using Xbox One controller. First boot is windowed which can be changed to fullscreen after the tutorial.
Everything runs fantastic, as mentioned below there are very minor visual glitches in the menus, other than that it's practically flawless. Controllers worked out of the box.
Everything worked out of the box, including the launcher. I played it extensively with the Star Trek Armada III mod and nearly every setting maxed out. Preformed as well as native with the same slowdowns in large battles. The only unintended slowdown I got was when zoomed out in tactical view.
Ran perfectly out of the box. Getting about 65-80fps on my desktop with nearly all settings maxed out. My xinput controller and rumble worked with no issues.
Update to my earlier report. I've nearly beat Spyro 1 and performance is still great. I overlooked one big issue though, the per-rendered cutscenes aren't played at all. This issue has more info: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/3035
Two nights with friends over around the couch. Second time they were over and I'd booted into Windows but an Nvidia update had borked all audio. Returned to Linux, ran this and had no issues at all.
Works out of the box, including my Xbox One controller.
I just changed the Pause menu from Back (Button 7) to Start (Button 8) out of personal preference.
