After the installation, the game was stuck at requesting the key. After some googling, found the fix and applied it, that should also be a fix for running the game on the 64 bit OS. After that, the game does start, all looks good, the videos are all there, being displayed at full speed, no lag or slow reproduction. Set all the detail levels to maximum, start the campaign, and the game starts, but after the initial few cut scenes, when jumping out of the plane, right before hitting the water, the game just crashes, no explanation whatsoever. After trying several times, it turns out that it happens after a minute or so, no matter if the cut scenes are skipped or not.
