I recommend launching with proton, and the non-redux version of the game. The redux was linux native but version suffered strange performance issues, had glitchy visuals, and does not support windowed mode. Additionally when playing the dlc there are game-breaking typos, that are not present in the original version

The original version of the game through proton worked flawlessly
