Graphical glitches after into video

Game starts up fine and plays the closed beta intro video from the lead dev but then there are massive graphical glitches on what I would presume is the main menu. Unable to interact with the game at that point.

Issue from previous report had to do with using the kisak-mesa PPA driver. Removed that and went to stock and that resolved my issue.
Performance:Slight Performance Problems
Slower framerate on higher graphics settings as others have reported.
