With most of the game you have to tinker youll either love it or hate it. I dont mind if I have to tinker with a game. You may not.

had to read some tex near chat or with in but i was playing at a lower resolution and forgot to turn on scaling options on the steam deck its self

When using the right bumper on controler it displays a menu and when its closed sometimes the games stops for a few seconds. The same menu if not mapped correctlly by default displays pc inputs and will not allow you to use your controler( depending on your controler mapping)
Graphics is smooth on Presets MAX FPS and Balanced; Resolution tested on 1280 x 800/ 1280 x 720 and 1024 x 768. NOT Docked
