I have no idea whether or not the increased performance of this game can be attributed to the use of Linux or if there were performance optimizations made by the developers as I had a months-long hiatus from this game before testing it out on Linux.

Tried playing this on 8GB of RAM (one of the sticks broke) and had memory-related crashes on Proton while being stable on Windows. Consider the minimum memory required, for Proton, as 16GB.
