If performance issues are fixed, the experience would be great as the game has no issues reaching high framerates... before it gets stuttery

Shader compilation stutters are present, plus random slowdowns in combat, especially when parrying, which seem to cause the GPU utilization to significantly decrease... below 10%, before going up again to normal values, creating temporary freezes that are a substantial detriment to the experience.
This report is based on my experience with the demo of the game. Performance may change both negatively or positively in the final version when it releases, I just wanted to let people know.
I am surprised to say the least by how good this game runs on Linux, given the use of new technology like RTX IO which works as it should.

Crackling is a very rare issue and when it happens there's usually a lot of enemies, NPCs and particles on screen, so it may depend on my CPU whose performance falls below recommended specs. Using photo mode during cutscenes might rarely cause the dialogues to be out of sync.
Performance is fantastic, there are no traversal stutters nor shader compilation stutters, settings can be tweaked at your own liking and performance gains and losses going either down or up are fair and like they should be in any game if only modern PC ports were as decent as this one. Great optimization work by Nixxes.
Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 runs fine on Linux with minor tinkering possibly required. Tested on both Proton Experimental and ProtonGE.
It sometimes gives issues with alt-tabbing and the Steam overlay.
The game has some performance issues when switching between resolutions.
