Works perfectly. Just use proton experimental and you're laughing. No hiccups or anything. Runs better than on Windows (11).
A little stuttering but I chalk that up to the fact that I had a hundred other things open.
Worked exactly as you'd expect it to. Ran near flawlessly
Amazing 10/10. Thank you Apex devs for finally letting us play.
After the update, the game runs very well again.
ATC is missing
This is an uncommon occurrence, but sometimes the mouse does not click properly or get the bounds right.
When you change certain graphics settings, the FPS drops to an unplayable rate.
DXVK_HUD=full -skipintro
Like every 2 hours or so for like 10 minutes at a time, the game would have really high input latency and FPS would dip lower than the mariana trench.
Also the G menu takes absolutely forever to load in survival mode.
You must disable grass for it to work properly. It WILL crash the GPU driver if grass is enabled and you will have to restart your entire PC.
Just some launch options and disabling grass, and you're 100% good to go. Runs fantastic on my hardware and was able to crank all of the settings to max (except grass) and run a nice and crispy 120FPS consistantly (the game is locked at 120 for some reason).
The game ran nearly perfect with one single tweak. I had to do "$wineprefix dotnet45" in the proton prefix
Broke GNOME window management. Couldn't move the window between monitors
Crashed when going into editor
I had to install dotnet45 before the game would launch
