Using i3wm you have to run the game in window mode, you can still fullscreen using i3. I suspect the game will have no issues on a non-tiling window manager.

Overall (online):Excellent
I can even run bakkesmod with no issues. Bakkesmod says injection failed through wine, but it somehow works without any issues.
