Tinker Steps:Switch to older version: 7.0-6
Instability:Occasionally
Initially used Proton 6.3-8 as it seemed to work until I got toward the end of the game in which it kept crashing in the same spot. Switching to Proton 7.0-6 allowed me to finish the game with no issue.

Worked out of the box; just needed to select the right resolution in settings

game initially went fullscreen but spilled slightly outside the top and bottom of my screen; I'm using an ultrawide screen so I just needed to select the right resolution in settings and everything displayed fine
though I currently am stuck on the first level because this game has that old-school difficulty I've not had any issues playing the game; will report back if further into the game I come across a bug
