Works out of the box with Proton 7.0-1, with the exception of the intro video (pre menu) which just shows a testcard.
Only played a little while, but great to see it launch effortlessly after many years of being completely borked.

Overall (online):Excellent
The biggest 'issue' getting this game to run is the jankiness (regardless of platform) of the game's launcher/installer. Setting proxy to EU for the first download, and leaving it in foreground for the entire process got me through it (after a couple of stalled attempts). I've had similar problems on windows in the past, so this seems to be a cryptic launcher issue rather than a Linux/Proton one. Once installed the game launches and works without problems.
