This is a release day post, but I had to switch from my version of Glorious Eggroll to Experimental to get the game to install and launch. Other than that it plays very well. Just as good as the first entry did on Windows so far.
Works out of the box without the need to configure anything.
Game will ocasionally crash and cause system to hang entirely. Infrequent issue. Appears that updating the graphics drivers without rebooting is the issue but this is not confirmed in my testing.
Fails to launch entirely
Was able to install and pre-render the vulkan shaders using Steam's pre-render option, however the game fails to load entirely without even brining up a window. Steam will say it is running and then later change to not-running after a few seconds without launching anything.
Alt-Tab occasionally does not work. The window refuses to release control of the cursor sometimes and wants to always be on top. The cursor will even refuse to go out of bounds of the window to other displays.
Occassional stutter during some stages (appears to be random) but mostly playable. The stutter will occur for a few short moments and inputs are not counted. But this is mostly ignorable and does not occur frequently enough to be bothersome.
Possibly needs some setting tweaks or possible issues with Nvidia Linux drivers.
Notable frame drops and stuttering after 30 minutes of playtime. Progressively got worse.
Works great out of the box. Controller support is also handled well through Steam.
