Crashes a minute after launching. Apparently, this is a problem with the used Unreal Engine version and my processor, see https://software.intel.com/content/www/us/en/develop/articles/openssl-sha-crash-bug-requires-application-update.html
This can be completely worked around by setting the launch options to OPENSSL_ia32cap=~0x20000000 %command%
To get fullscreen to work, I had to enable virtual desktop:
Open winecfg, either by running
WINEPREFIX=[Steam directory]/steamapps/compatdata/350070/pfx winecfg
,
or using protontricks 350070 winecfg
.
Then go to the graphics tab, tick "Emulate a virtual desktop" and set the resolution to your desktop resolution (1920x1080 for me).
Game thinks I'm constantly pressing up. Fixed by enabling DPAD-only mode in the options menu, but now I can only use the analog stick. My fix is, to use a controller that can map the DPAD to the joystick (8bitdo M30), but you could also use Steam's controller mapping and map the controller to the keyboard.
Crashes with "Error: GL_INVALID_ENUM in glMatrixMode" a few seconds after launch, when the Steam overlay should pop up.
Seems to run fine after disabling the Steam overlay in the game properties.
Also, I didn't need to use any DLL overrides.

On Wayland, the Steam overlay crashes the game. Seems to run fine after disabling it.
Used "%command% --skip-intro" in launch options.
Fixed by changing to windowed and back.
Works for me since Double Trouble update.
