Game works fine without any additional setup needed. Obviously it install the Ubisoft launcher, which sucks, but whatever.

This game had random hitches on Windows 11, which was disappointing, but when I booted on Linux it worked no problem. Works perfect on the Steam Deck as well. A win for Linux.

Just worked without tinkering. Initial loading screen took a while.
The initial loading screen took long enough to where I thought the game crashed, but it eventually loaded in just fine. Runs fine, all the cutscenes work no problem. Just works.

Game launches just fine without any tinkering, but the cutscenes display color bars. If you're playing a charming game like this you probably want the cutscenes, so Proton GE was a must.
