The multiple NUMA nodes of the Threadripper make for poor performance if the game is running on cores in separate NUMA nodes.

Anti cheat is often tripped and requires work arounds. The number of cores in the Threadripper seems to cause issues after games updates from time to time. Currently my system is a virtualized workstation running under ProxMox so I have direct control over number of CPU cores and NUMA affiliation.
