Unplayable frame rate
Performance:Significant Performance Problems
The framerate was unplayable, I even tried all sorts of "get DOOM to run on very old and weak hardware" fixes and it didn't help. Eventually I installed it on a Windows partition of the same machine and it ran perfectly, so the hardware wasn't the problem.

Works perfectly, the default window may be tiny

By default the demo version opened in a window so tiny that you can't see text. After finding the resolution setting and changing it, everything started working perfectly.
