Was not able to get the game running. Steam marks the game as running, but no window appears.

Tried most of the tweaks listed on ProtonDB, but the result never changed.
The game automatically stopped working, so I set __GL_ExtensionStringVersion=17700 %command% as a launch option. Then Steam said the game was running for about a minute (there still was no game) and stopped.
The game does not manage to run at all on OpenSUSE, Gentoo, or Arch. Attempted all the fixes I could find online, but none worked.

It's absolutely ridiculous that Team Fortress 2 of all titles isn't able to run at all. Although that 64 bits version gives me a lot of hope. Looking forward to it!
I tested the game in desktop mode. It is playable, but you should expect crashes every so often. I'm not sure that I can outright confirm it, but I have a lurking suspicion that certain avatars are behind the crashes. I crashed several times in a row attempting to return to a specific instance of a world with the same people in it, but entering a new instance of that same world did not crash my game.
