No mapping for the F12 key (flashlight augmentation) so I mapped it to the D-Pad down
On default proton version, 16-bit color only
Without 5.13-6, the game only runs in a limited color mode, use this version to correct the color depth to what you would experience on a Windows PC.
Aside from minor tweaks to the Steam input settings, ran great out of the box, no major issues.
The few saves I had near water effects did not demonstrate flickering as mentioned in other Proton reports. I had a save near the beginning, and in the Ada scenario, both worked really well.
Changed left trackpad to mouse
For personal comfort, I duplicated a few controls to the rear buttons for ergonomics, and changed the left trackpad to a mouse for ease of interaction
If you played with keyboard/mouse on another computer, you will need to manually select a gamepad with mouse emulation to use the gamepad controls
Game froze during the base selection screen after the tutorial once for me.
Sometimes the game gets "stuck" during the base sequences, make sure to save often so if you get this issue, you don't lose precious progress! Also make sure you select a gamepad if you've played keyboard/mouse on PC, otherwise the controls won't really work
