Plays well and functions as expected
I've add no problem using the account feature of the game using my steam account. On the first load I selected the 'played before' button and logged in without error.
Works likely as well as running it natively on Windows, however the game has significant known preformance issues (see e.g. https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/updates-on-modding-and-performance-for-cities-skylines-ii.1601865/) which will hopefully be improved upon in the coming weeks.
Works well
The game refused to be moved to other desktops (using the XFCE desktop environment), instead sticking to the first desktop which I launched it in.
Difficulties with managing the window
The game was awfully resistant to being managed with my window manager. Cycling through windows or trying to move the game window to a different desktop would cause it to crash.
