<1 FPS, and consistently crashes during character creation

Unfortunately, the game is currently unplayable on all versions of proton I've tried. The default, GE, and even older versions of proton all hit the exact same issues of low framerate and frequent crashes.

After manually installing .NET 4.8, the game performs at a reasonable framerate and without crashing.
Tinker Steps:Switch to experimental, winetricks
- Run winetricks with
WINEPREFIX=/path/to/steamapps/compatdata/533480/pfx winetricks(update the path to match your own system's path to steamapps directory) - "Select the default wine prefix"
- "Install a Windows DLL or component"
- Select the "dotnet48" checkbox in this list, and press OK.
- Continue through installation of .NET 4.8 until it completes successfully

Without tinkering, the game runs at an extremely low framerate and crashes during character creation. After using winetricks to install .NET 4.8 the game works well.
