Runs smothly like a native game for Linux
I have no success with Vulkan in Doom Demo but the full game runs on Vulkan without problems. It odds the demo has old code without real Vulkan support (though it has Vulkan in menu settings).
The sound works ok on the starting video but disappears on the menu and in the game. I've found the hint in Lutris receipes and after that audio works ok. Set custom launch string in Steam as this: WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xaudio2_7=n,b" %command%'
Game looks playable on Linux
I have a lot of USB controllers for flightsims that work properly in native Linux games (X-Plane, War Thunder). The IL-2 Sturmovik recognized only part of them. Also it have troubles with finding proper axis of the device. For example VKB joystick + BRD pedals worked in my case (but sometimes game could not find them in the settings menu). But Gamexrix ECS and Saitek Quadrants not visible at all. It looks like a Wine/Proton issue.
Runs ok but accident problems may occur.
I ran the game several times without any problems. But once I get flickering of the whole picture in menu and in game but video scenes displayed ok. I turned off "Tesselation" option and the picture restored to the good state.
I run the game in QHD with "Extra" settings and the all options turned on but "Tesselation" turned off for fix the bug with screen flickering. Also I decreased "Blur" option because of personal preferences. The game shows near 60 FPS most of time (VSYNC on) but accidently for short time it may fall down to ~30.
Runs without any issues
Runs on 1920x1080 with maximal settings. I could not run it with 5.4 kernel. After the kernel upgrde to 5.7.8 game launched without any issues.
