To get it running, I ran "WINEPREFIX=~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/215280/pfx winetricks d3dx9_43 d3dx11_43 d3dcompiler_43 dxvk"
After this, it worked flawlessly, even in dx11 mode. Frame rate was around 50-60 while downloading game data, and it increased to over 75 once downloading was done. Played it for well over two hours straight without a single hitch of any kind.

Runs like native on Proton 4.2-9 (Would not launch on 4.11-11)

The game would very rarely hang during missions, and I had to force close, and restart the game.
Requires a switch from the latest Proton, to Proton 4.2. Apart from that, it's all good.
