Unity game, works perfectly out of the box with the last version available of proton.
Black screen with Proton > 4.11.13 but still can hear sound. By using Wine D3D (PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1) the game works perfectly with newer versions of Proton.
Set the graphics options before launching for the first time. Press Esc when the game starts with a black screen to enter the menu
Used "PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%" steam launch option along with the no-cd patch mentioned below.
No-cd patch from this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwcBWvGjEWI
Works perfectly out of the box with the last version available of proton, finished the game without having any issue.
Native version works on one of my computer (Nvidia graphics), but not on my AMD apu laptop. Proton version works perfectly for both.
Needed to launch the game with "-windowed", then manually switch to my resolution, otherwise the game would crash
Works as in windows. Install GoTR Mod is a must for this game to patch many of the native bugs
Works out of the box with Proton 6.3-8, no crack needed since DRM is now supported by proton. The game works great in high without any lag
Managed to reach the main menu, then the game crashed at the launch of the first level (same reported bug on windows with AMD GPUs).
For those who wanna try (might work for some lucky guys to play the game): activate the FPS counter on the overlay menu, then launch the overlay at the black screen and close it, you now should see the FPS counter on the screen. Now spam SPACE and you normally should reach the menu.
Huge stutter encountered, playing in 640x480 helps a bit.
Works perfectly with a monitor resolution of 800x600. Videos do not play, just click a few times
Fixed my screen resolution to 800x600 and the game runs flawlessly
