Solo play is fine, it's duos and trios where you have about 30-40 FPS consistently, UNLESS, you're party members perish and leave or you go into spectator mode because you all died.
GE-Proton9-23 should be releasing hopefully soon. Maybe then it'll address the problems with FPS drops in duos and trios.
