Basically the puzzles & exploration from 3D Legend of Zelda games, with better platforming (you manually jump) but simplistic combat.
Runs very well on the Deck; feels just like playing a console game.
The startup process is a little odd on the Deck: just a black screen with no audio for about five seconds, then about twenty seconds of black screen with sound effects playing (enough to make you wonder whether the graphics even work on the Deck), then a "Please wait, loading..." logo in the bottom right for another 15-20 seconds as the sounds keep playing, then you're finally in the game. I have no idea why they don't get the "Loading..." graphic up earlier to reassure the user that everything's OK, but whatever. Once the game is loaded everything is nice and responsive; there's an enforced few-second wait (with all graphics) as you start each race, but everything else is immediate and runs very well on the Deck, with no problem sustaining a rock-solid 30 fps. I did not have to make any control adjustments.
Game will not launch under any version of Proton without the PROTON_USE_WINED3D environment variable set (otherwise, I get a dialog reporting that no DirectX 11 driver was found). However, with this flag set, performance is unplayable (seconds per frame rather than frames per second).
Unplayable--- approximately 2 seconds per frame, with significant input lag.
