Appears to work perfectly.
I haven't gotten very far in the game, but it seems to work perfectly so far.
Works perfectly except for minor workaround to use keyboard input.
Keyboard not recognized in-game sometimes (but always worked in menus).
I found the keyboard issues could be worked around by toggling fullscreen mode. Keyboard stopped working every time I switched to a different window but started to work again whenever I changed the fullscreen setting, so I just changed it twice to get back to the original setting with the keyboard functional.
(As others said, the multiplayer issues are with the game, not with Proton. Don't be surprised if it takes several attempts to connect to a game, but once connected it is fine.)
OutOfMemory error followed by black window
OutOfMemory error dialog appears immediately. Clicking "continue" makes a window pop up, but its contents is all black. Music plays with lots of stuttering. Arrows + enter make sounds implying there's a menu... but hitting [enter] always pops up an error dialog with a NullReferenceException.
Game works. Sometimes crashes (black screen) but reopening loads properly.
Screen turned black upon reaching final level of a run. Exiting the game and opening it again loaded back where I left off, so it was still playable.
Works perfectly.
Used an XBox 360 wireless controller with the xpad kernel driver. Didn't try any other controller setups.
