It has considering performance issues, even though my hardware is far from powerful, performance has a lot to be desired. It barely hits 30fps on most maps with only 1 car loaded. Lowering the graphics quality doesn't help as the framerate remains untouched.
Sometimes the game won't launch and i have to restart steam.
Since the game got updated to 0.19, it performs better but still doesn't perform as good as it should. I can only use 2 cars at the same time given that my hardware isn't that powerful and it's still choppy but only with a single car it performs better than before.
Sometimes some key combinations don't work (like CTRL+W), but that just may be a bug from the game itself or a random glitch that only happens to me.
Micro stuttering, things got better with proton 5.0.2 but it's still stuttery and hard to play unless you put it in windowed mode and play on a super tiny window.
Running perfectly now, on a side note, a tip for people with intel HD graphics.
My laptop has intel hd and wouldn't launch the game at all with proton 5, get proton-ge5.4 and add this in launch options "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%" (without the quotes), after that the game will launch and play with no issues at 60fps (in my case at least, intel hd 3000).
Installs, opens and works on the first try. Better performance than on windows.
Runs perfectly out of the box.
