With Proton GE, video playback is choppy, skips a few frames. Running vanilla and experimental proton the video files won't even load.
The game has some graphical issues but is very playable.
The game runs fine with proton up to version 8.0-3, except the experimental version (the game takes minutes to load and the image is distorted).
In addition, i installed the Committee of Zero patch using protontricks to enhance the experience.
As previous users have reported, there is a noticeable crackling in the audio that comes and goes, most noticeable in the main menu. If you're using Pulse, try this command in the "launch options" section of the game's properties page. (You can also change the value. As i observed, the higher the value, the less crackles you'll get.): PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=40 %command%

The highest resolution this game supports is 1080p. If you want to play it on a larger resolution, you have to upscale it yourself.
