Feels just like the Windows desktop version, just on Linux and in your hand. It's a pretty good game to just start up and play a few hours.
Using the beta branch I set the refresh rate to 40hz and the FPS limit to 40.
It opens a Xbox live login window that requires the Steam + X combo to open a keyboard. Otherwise it was fine.
Really seemless install and launch. I already owned the Minecraft launcher variant but wanted the ease of use Steam offers so I repurchased it on Steam. No regrets from that since it launched perfectly and runs great. Fans only really ramp up during loading screens, but that even happens on desktop.
Movement sometimes would lock to "holding" the direction if I flicked my stick too fast and not far enough.
It runs pretty well, unfortuntely has to be at 60fps otherwise the game's physics slow down. Only had minor issues with controls but it makes the game somewhat unplayable since I get stuck moving right.
