Game can be fun but has severe graphics performance issues.
Depending on the graphics settings there can be a lot flickering on the shadows in the day
Disabling "Graphics Jobs" in the launcher seems to cause light to become much brighter
When enabling "Graphics Jobs" (default) in the launcher settings the performance is good in the beginning but over time reduces to a point when it's so bad and stuttery you have to restart again, it seems to just stop fully utilizing your graphics card at some point(gpu utilization goes from 100% to around 20% and never goes back), generally happened with an hour or 2 of playing and if moving around the map a lot.
Disabling Graphics Jobs results in worse fps (about 10-15 fps lower) but it won't degrade and get worse over time
Overall performance is really bad though, significant fps drops: in cities, radiant quests in houses that trigger zombie spawns, driving around, large bases, large buildings.
Reducing the graphics settings even to lowest also doesn't seem alleviate these issues that much for me.
The game just seems to hog all your resources and it feels like there must be some memory leak or something as over time the game will just hog more and more of your RAM /CPU/GPU, causing your desktop to start locking up and freezing if you alt tab out the game, but the game will run fine. If you're on a lower end machine you probably won't be able to have a lot of background tasks for other things running.
Games works perfectly and performs well after fixing the intro cut-scene by applying the windows media foundation workaround here: https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install
The game itself works fine with the "Temporary launcher workaround" bypass beta, however you won't be able to do anything online(Character progression, playing with friends ect), so you're just limited to offline play with bot's unfortunately. Proton works as intended, but EAC requires login through the launcher so it's a problem steam can't solve.
