Game might not launch after tinkering, try re-launching the game or restarting your pc if that happens. Usually happens on first launch
Will NOT run out of the box, but game runs normally without any significant performance impacts after tinkering.
Haven't figured out how to install the content manager.
Will NOT run on modern versions of proton/GE (I run the game on proton 5.0-10).
Switching to another version of proton after everything is set up WILL BREAK your installation. If that happens, delete your assetto corsa prefix with protontricks and re-tinker
Use the latest GE-Proton, then launch the game and wait (for a long time!), GE-Proton will install the dependencies needed automatically in the background. You can monitor the process by launching steam on a terminal. The game will crash after Proton installs the dependencies, re-launch it again and the game should work!
GE-Proton will automatically install the needed dependencies on first launch (Takes a while though), you can monitor this process by launching steam on a terminal. Wait for Proton to crash (after installing the needed dependencies), re-launch once it does, and your game should work normally.
